Poor Quality Extension Harness

As an automotive enthusiast I was disappointed with this harness extension. As my TESTS showed, the product failed to improve the performance of my car. The pros? It didn't cost much. The cons? The connectors were poorly made and came apart after only a few days of use .I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable replacement part for their vehicle..

  • Easy installation and compatibility with most vehicles with GM LS1/LS6 engines.
Cons
  • Requires additional wiring knowledge and experience, which may pose a challenge for beginners.

Big difference

I have a V8 Miata and the IAT sensor was behind the radiator. The OEM wiring harness was not long enough to move the sensor. This area is a very hot place. As hot air was registered as the environment, the ECM changed the timing and the power dropped sharply. This was done to put the IAT sensor in a spot in front of the radiator where the air is really ambient air. HUGE difference in performance! Now time doesn't slow down. You feel the difference when the car pushes you into the seat!
