Perfect for my application

I create wood carvings on a CNC machine. Most types of wood leave small fuzzy spots that need to be sanded down. In most cases these areas are very small and difficult to sand by hand. This tool is perfect for this application. Just don't expect to remove a lot of material, it's a lightweight tool. You can also get better results using a light touch. One thing I did was put a piece of very thin, soft rubber on top of each of the sanding pads. I have a thin and soft adhesive material that is…

So weak, so slow, so not for me.

So it is not clear what exactly this is supposed to be used for. I thought I had the easiest job for a grinder. I only need one tool to sand down my plastic prints, which I use dental floss soaked in wood. Boy was I wrong. When I moved the instrument from side to side, head movements became useless. So all you can do is rub it up and down or draw circles. The paper is blank but I used the heaviest grit and erased it in the same project. I resorted to giving my parts a head start and used…

Might be worth it.

There weren't any reviews for this grinder yet so I took a chance and tried it out. There is a similar product Proxxon. However, this requires an additional power source (transformer), which puts the cost in line with this brand. There were two main reasons I chose this one over Proxxon. I bought one of the Proxxons mini chainsaw cutters a few years ago and was completely unimpressed with the quality.
