This pack works extremely well when working with CA finishes leaving your work looking like it was done by a professional! Using the step up process will leave your project finish looking wonderful . The pack includes 9 each 3 inch by 4 inch soft touch pads in the following grits: 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000 & 12000 plus a color coded grit guide. Ideal for use with acrylics, plastics, resin or impregnated blanks when turning. Works great on automotive and marine body work. The pads can also be used around the home for fine repair work. Pads are colored coded with foam backing for easy grit identification. Colors may vary from images shown here. The colors on the grit chart and the colors of Micro-Mesh abrasives may vary slightly due to color shifts in the manufacturing process.

Amazing Sanding Discs

This is amazing! All it takes is patience and you can make any piece of wood look like you've varnished it to a gloss finish. I use them for sharpening knife flakes and after rough sharpening I use these pads from 1500 grit down to 12000 grit. If you have the patience to sand things and want a flawless finish, this is perfect! I went for 3 x 4 strips, although they also make 2 x 2s. I cut them in half to make 2 sets of 2 x 3 strips. A 1001 Applications on Finishing Products

These microgrid sanding pads are my (now defunct) secret solution to getting a great finish on wooden materials. After sanding down to 1000 grit with a sanding block I switch to these babes! They're just the right size to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, but they're also thin enough to "feel" the slight curves of the wood, and best of all, no sanding block is needed. *MUCH* much better than sandpaper for fine/ "mini "/detail work ((No, they don't sand rough parts.))

- My first experience with Micro-Mash was with a stainless steel scratch remover kit. I haven't used it on a sink but it worked great on various other stainless steel pieces and worked *even better* on tropical hardwoods - the polish applied to Gabon Ebony etc was actually reflective - not like a mirror of course. but it doesn't look like anything I've seen before on raw wood. - So I bought this set. As described they are all full size 3" X 4" - I did not measure the thickness of the foam layer
