When I was 80 I have fond memories of a Craftsman (old Sears) mini plier tool I had sometime before 1980; this. He was raised. I have purchased at least 4 different mini pliers tool kits over the past 15 years and none of them have lived up to my expectations.

I got these for precision work on electronics projects. They certainly do the job and I enjoy using them, but they are a little smaller than expected. Luckily I still have small hands, so that's not a problem for me. But I could definitely see how difficult it would be for others. Much like some guitarists complain that their "fingers are too thick for the neck".
