Description of πŸŽ™οΈ Enhanced Microphone Preamp Boost Activator for Livestreaming, Broadcasting, Podcasting, and Vocal Recording Optimization

USES 48V PHANTOM POWER TO ADD CLEAN GAIN: Professional dynamic mic preamp activator that uses 48V phantom power to add 25dB of clean gain to dynamic and ribbon microphones while dropping the noise floor to an astonishing -70dB. (Note: phantom power is required and must be supplied by your audio interface or an external 48v power supply. The MB-1 does not supply phantom power). FOR STUDIO AND BROADCAST RECORDING: In the studio, boost the signal of quiet instrument sources like vocals, percussion or acoustic instruments, while maintaining the natural sound of your microphone. FOR LIVE SOUND: Durable enough for the stage, and quiet enough for the studio. For live sound, you can reduce line noise on long cable runs and improve the gain before feedback ratio for public speakers or singers. REDUCE FEEDBACK WHILE ADDING MICROPHONE CLARITY: with -70dB noise rating you'll be able to cut through the mix without adding feedback or unwanted hiss and hum. DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONAL RESULTS: Perfect for podcasts, live streaming, radio broadcasts, live sound, and studio recording.

The perfect complement to the Shure SM7B

I've been looking for a new microphone for a long time and decided on the Shure SM7B. The problem is that even with my audio interface I need more gain to get the sound I want. This is where the MB-1 comes into play. I was planning on getting the Cloud Lifter as I figured that would be my only option. Let me be the first to tell you to save money on a cloud lift and get an MB-1. I get 25dB of pure gain and it's a lot cheaper than the alternative. The unit is well built and once you plug in the…

Good alternative to Cloudlifter, Dynamite or Fethead

Was looking for a cheap alternative to Fethead, SE Dynamite or CloudLifter. My use case is that I am using a Rode PodMic connected to a FocusRite Scarlett Solo. Everyone knows that Podmic is performing rather poorly and needs some extra boost. Without the MB-1 I would have had to increase Scarlett's gain to 90-100%. With the MB-1 I get about 40-50% gain over the Scarlett. I'm not an audio pro, but to my ears the sound is clean and clear with no hiss or buzz. about 1/3 the price of a cloud lift,

Excellent for podcasting with Rode Podmic

This is ideal when using a low gain mic like the Rode Podmic. This requires phantom power, so if you have a 48V audio interface or sound card, you don't need a separate external power supply. I checked out Cloudlifter but the quality is just as good and I'm very impressed with its transparency. It doesn't really color the sound at all. It should also be noted that the housing is made of metal and has braces on the front and back to protect the XLR cables. The mounts are also good for attaching…
