This is a good product and a great voltage indicator concept. However, the item description is inaccurate as each USB port only supplies 1000mA charging current NOT 2.1A as advertised. So total is 2.0A not 4.2A as advertised. It has a good fit and finish, I just really need a higher output USB port in my car. ;(

They fit perfectly in the empty slots on my 2008 Toyota Tundra. I have quite a few mobile devices that I carry around and with two of them in the dash I have enough USB power to charge them. As a bonus, the voltage gauge gives me a better idea of battery levels and alternator output than the dash, and the blue digital gauges actually look pretty cool. Very satisfied.

Fits very well. Only needs to be connected to power and ground. There is a factory ground point near the vents above the stereo [2011 Toyota Corolla] and I used the power connection from the under dash fuse box and used the auxiliary fuse only to turn on the power. Displays the voltage when the key is on and the charging voltage when the engine is running. Overall I would recommend. Very easy installation took about 30 minutes

I loved this item. off by 0.4V. Moving on to the USB output it says each port is rated for 2.1A (4.2A total) but this is incorrect as each port outputs 1A. A 1A USB port is almost useless for charging phones/tablets in 2018. In the end my conclusion is that this item will likely stay on the shelf and never be used as I am not from the US and it would not be economical to return it.

Although easy to install it was a little tight. Well, barely 4 months and he's dead. The USB ports were definitely not 2.1 amp and barely worked for me. It didn't bother me too much as I really wanted the voltage meter to keep an eye on the system, but the USB was a bonus. Disassembled and found that the display is crooked, like USB connectors. Most of the solder joints were just awful, the main one being the ground point. It just dangled in the board as the solder didn't even stick to the pad.

not relevant 2.1A per port. If the total draw from both ports exceeds 2.7 amps, the device will proceed with the reset. Tested with 4 units and 3 units have this problem. So it's safe to assume it's not defective, but it wasn't designed to actually deliver that much performance. and the product is falsely advertised. With an iPhone and iPad connected it couldn't draw more than 0.97 amps, but with cheaper electronics that don't have very good power control it could only draw up to 1.7 amps…

Almost perfect for Prius Gen 3 sockets (clamps don't go all the way to full seat - just 1-2mm will do). However, once installed, it fits tight enough that it doesn't move when plugged in or unplugged from USB ports, so there are no ill effects. The rest works great.
