Good product overall, should have a seal

Appears to be very well constructed. I've used it off-label: having a junction box of sorts to tether some off-road headlights to a central spot on the outside of the car, and then running a wire into the car. One issue is that there is no gasket to actually seal the lid to the box so I had to use some sort of gasket making tool to seal it. We'll see how it goes. One star deducted for lack of padding.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Dry and safe in the trailer Accessory

The junction box is the perfect intermediate point in the wiring, I used it right after the bulkhead in my van to make it easy to add extra wiring without the need for a faucet. -ins, making the wires look crappy. Only warning: make sure you have all the nuts and bolts. The nuts are not SAE and I'm not sure if they are metric. everything I bought was not suitable to replace the lost ones. I improvised my own connection terminal. Easy to install, durable and protected.

Nice upgrade to the original wiring

This is a great upgrade for my camper trailer with light wiring. Originally from the factory they just used a household metal junction box with wire nuts to connect the trailer cord to the camper wires, cheap if you ask me. This made it look a lot cleaner and tidier, plus all the wires are in a shrink grommet to keep water out. I took a small piece of styrofoam and stuck it in the lid of the box to make it more waterproof. There's plenty of room in the box for wiring, and the included plugs…

Not worth installing

I sent this back because it quickly became clear that the hassle of installing and replacing it wasn't worth it. The inner struts rattle a bit, so I expect them to snap out and short out on the road. This of course depends on getting the correct clamp sizes as the manufacturer doesn't list bar sizes or answer customer questions, I found #10 too small and 1/4 too big but I didn't have #12 to try (no previous answers say 12, but that splits the difference). The plastic hole plugs are actually…
