Midland Radio

Works great; The batteries that come with it are terrible though. I bought new batteries and replaced the original ones.

Easy to Use Best in Walkie Talkie

These walkie-talkies are what we need! We use them to communicate when camping, cover the trailer, check the lights, etc. No more yelling back and forth! The sound is very clear and easy to use!

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • boring packaging

Not a simple weather radio

I chose it as a weather radio but it doesn't seem suitable for the purpose. I set it up according to the instructions but no information. The battery life could also be a bit better.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Not an automatic

DON'T Spend HARD EARNED MONEY ON THESE

DON'T Spend HARD EARNED MONEY ON THEM. The battery life is sooooo bad. Even the ones I have couldn't change the channel. Be sure to spend your money on something else.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Available in white only

Keep a backup battery and charging cable.

Having a case is great. I never lose these things. The battery lasts an average of 6 hours with very infrequent use. I would say we did 15-20 clicks to connect in 6 hours and he was dead.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

The perfect complement to your Go-Bag

We needed to upgrade our emergency kit and decided on a radio. We tested it and it works very well. You need to make sure you firmly press the talk button. The only thing I want is for you to hear a beep when you're done speaking.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Functionality

Batteries only last 6 hours

Main criticism is that the batteries only last 6 hours before switching off, the same for both radios. This may be because I primarily use them for NOAA weather alerts. If I disable the NOAA alarm, the batteries last about 8 hours. I charged these batteries all night, so they should be sufficiently charged. However, the battery icon on the display will never stop cycling, as described in the user manual. Then I used regular batteries for both radios, turned on the NOAA alerts and the regularโ€ฆ

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not everything fits
