Great price for a great product

As described, very satisfied. I needed a mid band antenna which I bought used. Instead I found this at Revain and paid very little for a fully functional weather radio. Thank you Rewin!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some issues

Early storm warning is a good thing!

The radio can be programmed to only receive alerts in your area. Very easy to set up. The volume can be adjusted to the desired level. Can also be used as an alarm clock. A must have for those living in a tornado or server storm area.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Expensive

Falling apart came

The weather radio itself works great but my product literally fell apart in its packaging. The faceplate was completely detached and the antenna would not stand up or stay. Do what I have to do and spend the extra money on a good quality radio.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Small things

worked fine until my batteries melted

I had batteries in it to use as a backup in case the power went out during a thunderstorm. One day I picked it up in the dust and noticed the batteries inside had melted so it was quite a mess. To be honest I don't know if it was a radio error or bad batteries. I had no issues with the other batteries that came out of the box but felt I should add this just in case of the review.

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • Good but not great

Pros
  • Alert level indicator
Cons
  • Slightly torn

great for collectors or anyone who really needs it

If you're looking to start collecting weather information this is the second best radio to start with (#1 - radio shop 12-521 ) very easy with SAME functions, which means it will warn you of tornadoes in your specific county, not your ex.

Pros
  • 22 channel GMRS radio
Cons
  • Not a pretty package
