A good substitute for the best nuts

Bought because of the quality and solid weight. But they literally broke after a few on/off. Black looks thin. They are only slightly longer than the standard Jeep Wrangler JK eyelets. seems better. Just my opinion.

Not worth the money spent

Simply install these in place of the 2-piece factory nuts. They are no longer completely black from peeling paint, the only good thing is that they are solid compared to the originals. I think I'll break out of the black tint. less effort than returning.

Nice gesture! Best in Nuts

I black out my jeep as much as possible to give it a sleek look. I haven't really thought about my nuts...but after installing this product it made a huge difference to my black rims. They're also deeper and longer than standard nuts, giving you more "bite" with a wrench. Highly recommended!

Poor quality control

They came in a set of 20 to fit my jeep. Only 19 actually fit. The one that didn't fit was designed for a smaller bar. I did a trial fit on a bike using a "pocket trick" with a torque wrench (no air exposure) to test the fit and the paint came off. Instead of messing around with repacking and shipping back, I found a real nut (but chromed) I had in the garage and covered them all with a couple coats of black VHT engine paint I had lying around. There are definitely better products out there.

You get what you pay for. Good and bad.

I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the black coating came off the first time I applied it. For me it's not that big of a problem, but for some it will be. I also see that they will rust due to the trim coming off. I'll fix them so they aren't. I didn't blow them off, I put them on by hand (to protect them) and then tightened them with a torque wrench. They're a little smaller than the factory lugs, but they're durable, so that's a plus. They match the factory bikes perfectly, in case…

The fairing came off even though I fitted it by hand and used a torque wrench

If a hole punch is used, the paintwork will be completely destroyed. Initially I installed manually and the finish went poorly. I used the Impact as soon as the photo shows the result after 1 month. I ended up ordering replacements because they looked so bad. I then used a plastic bag and still haven't seen any rust. To protect the lug nuts during installation or removal, I used a plastic bag as a sleeve between the lug nuts and the bushing. DO NOT USE IMPACT GUN. Be sure to use a different…
