Entry level, works

This was my first foray into pocket holes. He does his job very well. It requires a bit more effort than fancy jigs. So if you have a lot of pocket holes to punch, you may need a little more. I'm having some issues with some of the screws poking through the attached board, but this could be user error. Overall I'm glad I started with this kit but will likely upgrade in the future.

Use it three times and come back frustrated.

Disappointed with the quality of the pilot after three uses. The tip cuts into plain 2x4 pine and drills straight without stressing the bit. I don't think it's possible for the bit to come off without a hitch. The rest of the cuts were great, only the pilot cut was either broken or just cheap stuff.

Good value for money

I've always dreamed of a Kreg pocket lure but the price has always put me off. When I saw this I thought I'd give it a try. It costs money. Easy to use and accurate. I'm new to woodworking and find the price and value of it much more valuable. I would buy from this company again. The tools are well made and easy to use. I'm glad I got this instead of a Kreg, I spent less and got what I wanted. I didn't pay for the name.

This is the one! for power tools and hand tools

I was new to the pocket screw game and was looking for a tool that was easy to use and gentle on me. I found this! The Milescraft Pocket Jig#7336 is simply amazing. Such an easy tool to use and so forgiving when you need it. I have told several people about my device and even a few of my friends came to try it to compare it to their devices. I can't say there aren't better ones, but I haven't found them. Great product and customer service!

So happy Kreg R3 was delayed!

I needed a new portable hole gauge ASAP for an ongoing desktop project at my local steakhouse. I was about to buy a new R3 Crag Kit. They're not available, so I had to improvise. I have ventured this Milescraft kit and am very impressed. The plastic appears to be heavier than the reinforced glass-filled type compared to the abs that Kreg appears to be using. The board thickness limiter/adjuster, reversible track, clamp magnet and drill depth adjuster are excellent in this jig. The only drawback

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
