I usually like my Milwaukee instruments.

I'm a Milwaukee guy through and through. I have almost every tool they make. However, in this case, my new nail gun stopped firing shortly after purchase. It's hard to brake enough to pack it up and send it in for repairs. I installed it and more or less forgot about it. Now I need it and can't use this brand new tool - disappointing that when I bought it I read several reviews from people who had the same experience. However, those reviews were older, so I just assumed Milwaukee would fix…

Much better than hand hammering but often sticks

This thing is very effective. The battery lasts forever and is not too heavy. Might be hard on the wrist but that goes for any nailer. My only complaint is that the mechanism that holds the tension on the nails often slips. So I'm standing on the ladder trying to hold something with one hand and nail it with the other and the loader slips. Lay it down, pull it back, hammer in a nail. slips again. I have contacted Milwaukee but they have not responded. There were a few issues with Milwaukee…

NOTHING BUT A HEAVY DOODY: 3rd also stopped working

I've tried 3 of these now, first 2 worked great, ran about 50,000 stainless 2-1 2 -inch nails before serious problems arise. Since then they have both been sent into the warranty box. I bought a third to have a working one on hand, this one only did about 200 1-1/2" galvanized nails before it stopped working. It clicks several times when the trigger is pressed against the work piece before eventually a nail is fired and completely released. Tried different battery packs - to no avail. I'm a…
