This may seem obvious, but pay close attention to the dimensions. The photos are SUPER misleading! Much less personal.

When I took the ramp out of the box and opened it to install, two boards broke horizontally. The material of the top of the ramp is flimsy and not securely attached to the wooden base. The material is attached at the top and bottom. There are no adhesives or fabric anchors on the running surface of the ramp.

Firstly the carpet they put on it doesn't have any grip, we had to cover it with something so our little dachshund could do it without slipping. And after two weeks of use by our 8 pound dogs, it fell apart completely due to loose bolts and poor assembly. The wood split open and the staples holding it together came out.

The ramp is designed to help my elderly 12kg dog get up onto the couch. The material is slippery and if you put it much higher than the second level it gets too steep. I cover him with a blanket and keep him on level 2. My dog has to jump up the top a bit but he's happy to be able to climb back onto the couch. It works great with this setup. Arrived with a broken part of the pivot axis. Possibly caused by the manufacturing process of drilling a bolt hole into brittle, low-grade wood. I'll tape it back if that becomes a problem, but for now it still serves its purpose. I sawed off the ends of the legs to make them shorter than the minimum to get the required height. I bought it with the expectation that I would have to make such a modification. Also, through no fault of the manufacturer, my Saint Bernards find this product…
