Great little fan for lighting and ceiling fans

We really like this little fan. We put it in the new kitchen station on our porch. It was very easy to install. Works great and quiet. I would recommend this fan to anyone who needs a small ceiling fan.

Outrageously Loud for Lamps and Ceiling Fans

Whoever claims the Minka-Aire F546-WH, Contractor, 42" ceiling fan is quiet, he's lying! and assemble, but monstrously loud when turned on, even on the lowest settings.

One Year Warranty - Lasted one year

Initially I liked this fan for the most part. But just days after the one-year warranty expired, the motor started clicking so loudly we had to turn it off for the night. The two Harbor Breeze fans I've had for a number of years still work perfectly. What seemed like a good deal has now turned into a waste of time and money. I will not replace it with another Minka Aire fan. I suspect the quality of the materials used to make this fan would barely last a year. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Cons
