    Perfect replacement

    Our fan burned out lightbulbs and batteries. We called an electrician to check everything and he said everything was fine but we should try to replace the remote control. It worked! We bought this, installed the stylus and we were ready to go.

    Works great on an old Minka ceiling fan

    It worked the first time. All you have to do is make sure the ceiling fan is on and follow the brief instructions. My old wall controls were difficult to use and worn out. It works great and is much more convenient right on my bedside table.

    Strange controller

    The controller worked in the fan controller. The fan light was not dimmed. I replaced the light with a halogen bulb that came with the fan and an LED bulb. The lights were on but could not be dimmed by the new controller. The new controller controlled the fan but not the bulb dimming feature.

    It does not work. Although he does too.

    It didn't work out. Even though it has the same remote model number and the specs on the web show it should support my model number fan, the product doesn't work. I even tried new batteries here (fresh enough to run the same model fan/remote in a different room). I suspect the item is defective.

    Disappointing for wall controls

    This item arrived today. Worked for about 30 seconds. I suspect the reason it stopped working is that the supplied battery died. I can't just replace it because it's a custom size. I will update the review but if the product is sold with a battery it must be a working battery. Let's see if I can find a size 23a battery.

    Great product, super helpful!

    We moved into a rental house that has a branded ceiling fan with wall control in the master bedroom. I studied it and found that I could buy this remote control to control the fan (speed, rotation) and light block (infinite dimming is possible) remotely. This is very handy for fan/light control when you don't feel like getting out of bed. It even comes with a handy wall mount to slot it into.

    Perfect replacement for my Honeywell ceiling fan

    I lost my Honeywell fan remote control and it looks EXACTLY like this so I ordered it and hoped for the best. Also, the fan is so high that I would never be able to get up and reset it, so I was hoping it would somehow magically work. Guess what? It works. Without touching the fan itself, I followed the simple instructions and programmed the remote to work with my existing fan. If I can figure it out, anyone can.

    I have a wonderful Minka Aire ceiling fan and my wall controller failed due to poor wiring in an old house a few years ago.
