I am very impressed with the finish and quality. Deep wool pile (very comfy and soft 😄) with the added bonus of being made entirely of wool. You NEED a non-slip surface. I would only recommend this if you can afford the cost. I think that's a great use of funds.

I am happier than I expected with this rug. It's really soft, not rough like I would expect wool to be. I wish these rugs were in more neutral colors. I'm not sure why they aren't made in black or even dark brown. See photo for a comparison of the bright orange/red color of the rug with the actual bright red color of the cushion.

I ordered two of these brown ones to replace the rugs we have been using for several years. I'm glad my others needed a replacement because they are so much better. They are thick and protect the floor better. You are attractive too. I would definitely buy again. They also arrived quickly even though I ordered a week before Christmas. Thanks for a great product.

Nice and thick fireplace rug. A very neutral golden brown that doesn't struggle with wood tones, but goes well with most Oriental's mustard golds and burgundies if you have something similar around. And yes, an accidental spark would just dissipate in the carpet and go out, and it was no longer on the carpet. Aside from its usefulness, cats and dogs also love it.

This rug was for the front of my fireplace and it fits perfectly. Excellent quality, very thick but not the color I expected. The color looks more golden in the photo, but it was more of a grey-brown when it was delivered. It was ok though as it is the same color as my rug and went well with it. In fact, I also ordered an elongated one to put in front of the patio door. Do not hesitate to order as you will be very satisfied with the quality of this rug compared to many rugs I have seen.

Bought this half moon rug in front of my fireplace. Actual dimensions are 43 x 23 inches. The color is perfect. It's not the red of a fire engine, as I feared, but a darker, brownish red, just the right color for the carpet in my large room. Not pink or purple but reminds me of a good port wine. In any case, it's well made, with good finishes and thick fabric. I think that's a good price for an attractive wool rug that might get wood stains this winter.

When I bought this rug I didn't expect to like it. To be honest I left the bleach on some of the carpet stains for too long and actually just covered them with this carpet. Imagine how excited I was about this (as BOB ROSS would say) "little godsend" when I realized that this splash of red was a brilliant addition to the style of my room as well as a fireplace safety feature. I am very happy with the quality and attractiveness of my little red carpet.

I really liked this carpet. It arrived quickly and was exactly as described. I've vacuumed it several times since I bought it because it gets ash and dust on it. Looks like new afterwards. I accidentally dropped a small hot coal on it recently. It was smoldering, but I was able to clean it up quickly and it didn't even have burn marks. I believe because the wool has such a high burning temperature it would eventually turn black once the charcoal ran out, but I don't think it could catch fire…
