Miolle Strap 20000Lb D Hook Shackles Review

Tow strap works as advertised, very well made. My only surprise upon opening the packaging was how small the D-rings were, but that was more of a perceptual issue as they are designed for what they say. In general very satisfied!

I was concerned by some of the negative reviews but this kit is great. Everything I need is in a nice case. The band and rings appear to be of good quality. This is for emergencies in winter. For that it will be perfect. I have no idea how it will hold up to weekly off-road rides.

The product is what I need but the zipper on the bag sucks. One arrived broken and the other broke on the first attempt to close the case. I almost gave it back just for that. So unless some customer service shark of theirs just replaces one case, I wouldn't risk buying another.

This heavy duty strap is one of the few that comes with a clevis and pin mount (shackle) and carrying case. And at a great price! 30,000 pounds of force is more than you intentionally need. - always "better to have and not need than to need and not have" 1 ton = 2000 pounds. @ 30,000 pounds = 15 tons - that's enough. Also, a 20-foot length can suffice in most "normal" scenarios, and if you need to be closer you can fold it in half. Definitely recommend!

Strap and hardware seems great. Don't expect the case to last until delivery! I opened the box it came in which had bubble wrap inside. Tried to open and found one of the plastic zippers was completely broken. So I decided to add a second zipper (new idea). If you grab it and apply the slightest tension to it.
