DO NOT separate colors! If you do this you will never know what the DMC number should be. The colors come in one package along with a list of numbers. But the numbers are NOT written on the thread bundles themselves. You have to check each one, and if you separate the packages AND THEN look at the list, you're screwed! Rschunimagu

Bought this thread for my wife who has it just started to embroider. She says she thinks what she does is great, she hasn't used any of the expensive brands so she really has nothing to compare but had no problems with it and loved it. how many colors are included. I don't know if that's enough for the experts or not but my wife loves it so five stars.

Embroidery is pretty good. The colors are varied, the quality is good, and the color chart is useful, especially if you plan to buy more yarn of different colors. However, these embroidery threads leave a lot to be desired. First, part of the threads are cut off and knotted. I found a few winding coils. Secondly, the colors on the color chart do not exactly match the actual colors. I'll have to google the DMC thread color again.

This is a good buy. Lots of colors, although I always dream of a second black and white. Needles are good, just the right size for most projects. I would pay a little more for a better reusable plastic bag. And maybe some dividers to keep everything as tidy as when you first opened it. In general a good product.
