I can buy them at Petco for $4.99 each. It's almost twice the price, but you pay for the convenience of shipping. Sometimes the packaging gets dirty, but that doesn't affect the quality of the product. This is by far the easiest product to grow cat grass. Just add water. No mixing and stirring. A thick patch of grass grows out of this container.

It's great when your cat eats it. Now he decided that street grass was all he needed. Also ADD WATER!? The instructions say to only pour once, which is fine if you want it to die quickly. Feel the soil from time to time, if it is a bit dry add some water. Unlike your regular houseplants, it will grow moldy. Just sprinkle about 1/4 cup evenly as it dries. This will take quite a long time.

Two containers were bugged, rendering them unusable. The ones I didn't see until I opened them must have been bugs chasing my counter. Another had so many bugs you could see them before you opened it, so it was thrown in the yard. When not infested, it is easy to breed and the cat loves it. I suspect it was a production issue with two containers.

This product is easy to breed and all cats love it. It also seems to have helped the two long-haired guys who have so many hairball problems. The reason I only give 4 stars is because it seems a bit wasteful. It only grows once, even if I take it from the cats to regenerate. The culms became greener, but not larger.
