Sanding primer/sealing?

In our furniture store we rely on products from Mirka Abranet. Longest life, cut and fit of any other grinding wheel we've tried. We will continue to buy in bulk. The best prices are here at Revain!

I love them on my Mirka Deros grinder

Mirka lies about Abranet. They're said to last twice as long as traditional grinding wheels, but five times longer in my experience! I love these discs on my Mirka Deros Grinder.

Pros
  • grinding wheels
Cons
  • belt

Not what I ordered from Power Sander Parts & Accessories

I ordered 320 grit and received 400 they work well and last a long time. But obviously it takes longer to get the desired result than the 320 grit I wanted.

Cons
  • Upgrade Availability

Good sanding while it lasts

I use a lot of this material when finishing an oak cabinet between coats of some sanding sealers, varnishes etc. On older cabinets where we chose not to remove all of the old stain/paint layers, we sanded the surface with it before applying the dewaxed shellac "sealing coat". The first panel was quickly cut out, but these spacers wear out much faster than, for example, Festool "Granat" paper. I can use 400 grit between coats. For very light removal, to "deburr" excess paint, etc., I can use…
