When checking or replacing an O2 Sensor, visually inspect the sensor body to determine if it has been contaminated by a faulty part or substance upstream, and correct the fault before replacing the sensor. An OBD Scan Tool will usually identify Oxygen (O2) Sensors by the Bank Number (B1 = Bank 1; B2 = Bank 2) and Sensor Number (S1 = Sensor 1; S2 = Sensor 2, etc.). Bank 1 is not on the same side of the engine for every vehicle. Bank 2 refers to the bank opposite Bank 1. Sensor 1 refers to the sensor before the catalytic converter. Other Terms: Upstream Sensor, Pre-Cat Sensor. Sensor 2+ typically refers to the sensor(s) after the catalytic converter. Other Terms: Downstream Sensor, Post-Cat Sensor.

toyota sienna 2001 after such reviews does it work? which car model? They work. If it fails next year I'll edit it and give it a star. now 5 stars

Pros
  • An OBD scanner typically identifies oxygen (O2) sensors by block number (B1 = block 1; B2 = block 2) and sensor number (S1 = sensor 1; S2 = sensor 2 etc.). Bank 1 is not on the same side of the engine on every car. Bank 2 is the opposite bank from bank 1. Sensor 1 is the pre-catalyst sensor. Other terms: upstream sensor, downstream sensor. Sensor 2+ usually refers to the post-catalyst sensor(s). Other terms: downstream sensor, sensor after cat.

Everything is ok at the moment, best in sensors

I bought this for my 2001 Toyota Sienna with code P1130. After some research I came to the conclusion that it was bank 1 sensor 1. I replaced it and a different P1150 code came up. So I took a chance and ordered another one to replace bank 1 sensor 2 because they are interchangeable and got rid of both codes so far. So far so good that in the future you can tell if they will last because I didn't want to pay over $200 OEM. Edit: March 15, 2022 Code P1150 is back, I think that's because it…
