What am I doing wrong? This is the 2nd one I have! I tried 6 different sets of batteries! One + up and minus down in both directions. AND I CANNOT TURN IT ON!

Not working as intended. Unfortunately, instead of shining from above, the lights shine straight in your face and blind you. If your visor already has a mirror but no lights (like I have a Jaguar) it won't fit. Made for visits without a mirror.

I love this mirror. My 2019 ram didn't have a side mirror on the driver's side and it was driving me crazy. I read some reviews before purchasing. Some have mentioned how bright the LEDs are. Actually there are 2 settings. One is light and one is slightly darker. Fast pressing is less boring. If you hold the button a little longer, it gets brighter.

as expected but if you have light eyes the LEDs are dazzling! I have green eyes and can hardly look in the mirror for more than 10 seconds at a time. My husband and mom have hazel eyes and they both said they thought the light was perfect. So if you have blue or green eyes, be prepared, just like the sun, you will be blinded by the light. I still recommend. Even though I knew the light was too bright for me, I bought it anyway for a mom like that.

I needed mirrors for my truck as I have a "base model" that doesn't have them. I don't necessarily need a light on the mirror, but they only work intermittently. When I first opened the package I added batteries but the light wouldn't turn on. I went with them anyway as the light was more of an add-on for me anyway. Here, after a few days in my car, the light miraculously began to work. My other issue with them is that the clips are made of shiny metal. A shiny metal clip in the field of vision

This is a car mirror, but if you are looking for a well-lit mirror, this is not for you. Also, the bracket is not tightened enough to prevent the mirror from slipping off the visor. In this case you get what you pay for.

There were no vanity mirrors in my van. Every time I have a passenger; Wife, mother or whatever, they will complain. I like the built in touch function to turn on the LEDs. Too bad I wasn't rechargeable and didn't use watch batteries which weren't included. They are a bit small but for a car they would be perfect.
