Don't waste your time if you think it looks cool, but be that as it may, this material is thinner than tape, it doesn't get cold and absolutely helps too cool nothing

Doesn't reflect heat either.

This band doesn't let temperatures drop above 90 degrees. My guess is that it can reflect heat to any degree, but it can also do extreme temperatures. I'm obsessing over this band, the left side of the engine bay is gold. It's not sticky but will stick to almost anything in the engine compartment. Dusty details? No problem, just wipe and it sticks. The application is more like vinyl than tape. Very controllable and can easily flatten bubbles with a map. Highly recommended.
