Doesn't fit my 2011 WRX

No matter how I tried to position the hose logo side up, down and side to side, after two hours of fighting I still couldn't fit the hose. It's just too long, and its position alongside the stock hose confirms that. This will constantly move the intercooler too far out of alignment and put a lot of extra pressure on the bolts. I didn't want to risk cutting off my old turbo bolts, so I put the stock hose back on. I don't know how you could install this hose other than modifying either the hose…

WRX 13 Boost Leak Fixed

Nobody will buy this part unless they encounter a terrible general boost leak for our cars. I'm giving this part 4 stars because I wish I had at least some assembled instructions. I mean they have a youtube video on installation but I would rather just see a piece of paper showing how to remove the intercooler with screws here and here, disconnect the BPV, remove, attach the hose like this, attach the intercooler . and go choo-choo with proper boost and better idle. The part appears to be of…

Fixed my vibration issues - JDM 2007 Subaru Legacy GT

Very easy to install, good quality product! I've been looking for a low rpm problem for quite some time and after doing some research it's known that our factory throttle hoses wear out over time. After removing my intercooler and inspecting the factory hose, you can clearly see the cracks and fissures that have developed over the years from the heat cycling. After installation I did not reset my ECU and decided to let the car learn again. There were still fluctuations, but after a few days of…

Is there a leak? Just buy it already.

After several attempts to repair my Wrx 12 OEM hose by removing the bushings, adjusting the clamps and moving it, I finally gave in and got this hose. I've had my eye on it since day one, but while it's inexpensive I didn't want to pay that much for an inner tube. and to say that I am happy with my purchase. I've heard they came with T-bolt clamps but to be honest I don't know how I would mount them, the clamps supplied seem better than stock. Or maybe it's just because they're new. For those…

Mandatory replacement for 11-14 WRX

I had a really hard bump and the car jerked as the revs rose between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd gears. Even after tightening the OEM hose from the throttle body to the intercooler, I heard a hissing sound as the car pulled very hard with the boost on. Everyone I knew recommended this Mishimoto hose with reinforced clamps. Apparently this is a known issue with the 2011-2014 WRX. From reading other sites I bought an HPS 76-84mm "T-Bolt" clamp which uses a 10mm socket to tighten the nut. The…
