Subaru Forester 2011 not working. Steel.

will not work with 2011 Subaru Forester. The steel thing goes down so you can't fully tighten the nut without risking damaging the oil pan.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Does not work in engines and engine parts

Does not fit my 2012 Subaru Legacy 2.5. The magnet is too long and penetrates the oil pan before it can be bolted on. The drain plug looks great, it just didn't fit my car.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Has disadvantages

Amazing product, the only thing that could be bad.

Amazing product The only thing that might be bad for some people is that it changes the screw size to 7/8 but it's light and the magnet works great as it doesn't leak well

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not suitable for cars!

Does not fit the car. Buyers need to know about this item and the seller. Not suitable. The seller calls and tries to say I bought the wrong kit. It was listed for BRZ or FRS but didn't fit.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Loose Threads - Engine Parts

This was a great oil plug that had trapped solids in my engine for about 1.5 years but unfortunately it failed today. Did an oil change and when the plug was removed the threads were loose and easily removed by hand. I will be doing another oil change immediately to (hopefully) remove any metal shavings left in the new oil.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Modern

Good quality. Installed in my 2014 Forester XT without .

Good quality. Connected to my 2014 Forester XT with no problems. The crush washer is a one-piece aluminum washer with a rubber o-ring attached to the ID. My only complaint is that it requires a massive wrench. If I understand correctly, it was a 24 mm key. I would have preferred a shoulder screw with a smaller hex head.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

Loose threads on oil drain plug

UPDATE: After only four oil changes the threads on this plug fell apart in my hands and now I'm stuck at home until a replacement arrives. Not only that, but the fact that the threads went bad damaged my oil pan. I had to flush out the oil pan and spend a whole bottle of oil to flush out the metal shavings. BEWARE! This bolt is weak and won't even last a year.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
