🔧 MistKing 22259 Adjustable Screen Top Wedge Review

Great product for what I need it for. Would have given 5 stars but only 3 stars for poor packaging. Came in a cheap thin sandwich bag. Had to send it back because a screw was missing.

This was a great addition to the Mist King system for my chameleon enclosure. Easy to install and provides an excellent grip and attachment point for the spray head on the top of the body.

. I returned mine because I made a custom vent and it didn't fit unless she took a size larger than the vent. If your entire top is screen, this might work for you.

Got this with MistKing 22257 Single Misting Assembly Fitting Value T from IPetsland on Amazon. The main hole was too small for the fog assembly, I don't know if this is a manufacturer fault or if an updated wedge was needed. I ended up cutting the plastic with a knife to make it work.

If you buy a Mist King system, you'd be surprised if you paid another $10 for that piece of plastic. This is clearly being used by consumers. Mr. King, you must include this in your system, no excuse why it is not included.

If you have the right tools, you can easily make one out of tin. But you need the right metal brake to cut the shape. Fragile sheet metal bends too easily, so you need thicker material. However, it works well for what it's supposed to do, which is securely inserting the spray nozzle into the corner of the top of the mesh. But a bit pricey for a piece of plastic. Buy once, cry once.
