Pros: Looks great on my dry sink. Cons: Grinding coffee is a workout. Polishing takes a few minutes and almost makes you sweat. Also, a few beans just seem to sit on top of the grinder at a time, so it doesn't grind all at once. I think the last few beans never get ground because they need the pressure of the beans on them to push them into the grinder. Next time I think I'll invest in an electric or battery powered coffee grinder.

I love this little thing! I've only had it for about two days. So far, so good! At first I was afraid that the grains would pop out at the top when grinding. But that's not the case. As the end of grinding all the grains nears, only a small grain or grind may pop out. A transparent lid would be nice, but that doesn't spoil the impression. I've been grinding my own beans for a number of years. My daily grinder was an entry-level Cuisinart grinder that does its job perfectly. I bought this manual grinder to have an easy-to-clean, simple, and well-made grinder for the more expensive local roasted beans. This coffee grinder met all requirements perfectly.
