I ordered this because I accidentally bought whole beans. 🙄 I had a "grinder" for spices, basically a grinder, and I kept reading that a real coffee grinder is best for beans. It grinds fairly easily, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the grinder is easy to set up. You have to make sure you shake it enough times to get all the beans into the grinder. Even when the lid is empty, there is a ledge just below where the beans hide. Otherwise this is a great little meat grinder for the price.
