Very small for 4 inch studs. Screws are not included. The gap between handrail and spike is minimal. I only need them for bumpers on a boat.

Bought for our kayaks. They work great! A bit small, but for the price and the quantity - perfect. I will order more of these for our other kayak.

The product itself seems good, a hard little piece of plastic but I was hoping to use it to wrap an extension cord and for that they are too small for a cord of any kind , I think, like a blind train.

I wouldn't tie down a boat with these cleats but they do well for flag halyards and other light work. I used mine with paracord. Due to their small size, I would limit them to 1/4-3/8" rope. The spikes come with no mounting hardware.

Some people are idiots in their reviews who say these cleats are cheap plastic. They're nylon and strong as nails, that's nylon. They have two mounting screw holes and a center hole in the base, just like their older brothers.

I use these to hold my shade sail guy lines. I use regular 550 lb paracord for stretch marks and this brace gives me a very comfortable way to get loose quickly. So far this pole has withstood the wind force on my canopy well.

As a radio amateur, I like to hang my wire antennas from trees with loops of rope and pulleys, like hoisting a flag from a flagpole. This means I also need rope shackles to tie each loop of rope, like on a flagpole. This product has an additional advantage in this capacity: these spikes are BLACK and therefore adapt to the trees to which they are bolted.
