Definitely not real MKS

Sucks. There is no Japanese camp. It looks like there is sand in the bearings. 100% wouldn't even come close to recommending them. Excellent pedals exist, they would make my 3 pairs of MKS and that's the quality of SUCCCCCCCCCCXXKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS this is that covered I can't give a brown star!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Small for big feet

The pedals have a pleasant feel and a good surface for power transmission. I had no issues with the Tab. My only issue is that the pedals are a bit narrow for large feet (for reference, I wear a US 12). Pedal width isn't an issue for commutes and short trips, but if you have big feet the GR-10 might be a better option.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Quality pedals at a great price

GR-9 pedals have been around for a long time and rightly so. I have them on my fixed gear that I ride around town with. They can be equipped with double belts. They are 50 grams lighter than the 300 gram Gr 10 pedals and to be honest the fit and feel is pretty much the same as those pedals. They look like they have a little more corner clearance.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Clarity

Good for the price for pedals and cleats

Good for the price, I would recommend lubricating and adjusting before fitting, they were a bit "polished" when delivered. Quite narrow but looks great and the plastic clips and straps keep my feet in place comfortably. Probably not "right time" for my 80's road bike, but the chainstays on my original pedals made my feet rub against the cranks and they looked good.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Expensive

Great Flat Toe Clip Pedal/vintage look

Great pedals for use with toe clips. Easy to turn over and insert your foot. I've been riding them with my fixed gear for a few months now and I love them, they look great with that vintage aesthetic too. Convenient enough flipped over for short rides. I wear thin soled shoes and had some discomfort on long trips so had to upgrade to thicker shoes for 10+ miles.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Hardware

Great alternative to clips or straps

I have been wearing these on my 86 road bike for 6 months now. They turned smoothly with no problems, the tongue didn't break like some said. I usually ride at least an hour 5-6 days a week and longer on days off, so my feet and these pedals are very familiar with each other. I paired them with MKS Half Clips as they are much easier to get on and off due to the many stops and starts around town. I'm buying a second pair of GR-9s and half clips for my SS. I bought the smaller size for reference…

Laconic, agile and aesthetic.

These are the smallest pedals I have ever ridden. Narrow sizes can have both advantages and disadvantages, depending on whether or not you really need the extra clearance. I don't really need the extra space, so the narrow shape is more of a downside for me. When getting on and off, I never felt that my stance was anywhere near as stable as with the big pedals. When I ride, they feel very small under my feet. However, the quality is top-notch for the price, and I really appreciate the flat…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
