Provides long-life performance for today’s longer drain intervals. Effectively removes contaminants, with a 99.6 percent Multi-Pass Efficiency Rating and an advanced synthetic fiber blend media. Holds double the contaminants versus the leading brand, with 28.0 grams of total capacity. Withstands nine times normal system operating pressure, for exceptional protection up to 615 psi. Prevents dry starts by eliminating internal leakage during shutdown through the use of a silicone anti-drain back valve (where required by OEM).

Lower model "M1-209A " filter received

The item supplied is actually a newer but lower model M1-209A filter which is disappointing. I purchased this item specifically because the title and image show an older, higher quality filter.

An absolute must for engine protection!

I always try to read reviews and buy almost everything at the best prices. These filters are essentially your car's liver and should be the best if you want your car to start when you need it.

It's supposed to be 2 packs

Well the filter is a good product but the ad says 2 packs. Only 1 filter recommended. There's no way to just send a second filter, so I didn't use the exchange option. So if I get a 2 pack replacement I get 5 stars. Well I got a replacement 2 pack so now 5 stars - Revain, great job and great price

Good oil filter for oil filters and accessories

I've been using these oil filters in my Neon SRT-4 for about 100,000 and they work great. The last time I stopped the engine (at 140,000), everything inside was almost immaculate with no oil residue buildup. I'm not sure if it's the oil filter, but I'm sure it contributes. I wish they had a sandpaper like surface to grip them like fram filters because the smooth surface makes them difficult to remove especially when they have oil on them. I bought a strap wrench a long time ago that works great

Best Filters Available

I've been using Mobil 1 filters for a long time after seeing different brands of cutouts. Never had a problem with them. I recently sent an oil sample to Blackstone after running Amsoil through my Tacoma for 9600 miles (I use an M1-209 on my Tacoma 09 V6 for more capacity). Halfway I wanted to change the filter, but my hands didn't reach. The analysis came up with a thumbs up, the oil was clean with dirt found in it. I've done two desert trips in that time so I'm very happy with these filters…
