Much cheaper than in the auto parts store!

Took this to a local tire shop and was instructed to take it to the dealer for programming. took it to another local store and they put it in for $20. Works well, a ton cheaper than your local auto parts store

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Nothing

Just go to the dealer

Ordered it, had it installed, had to pay for a Viechiel computer to have it checked and it still didn't work. To be honest I know most people try to avoid dealer costs. But I spent almost the same price to get it working.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Minor problems

Perfect fit and cheaper than OEM

This was a great find to replace the stock sensors on my 2009 Nissan Murano. Factory sensors failed and one had a threaded tip broken off due to corrosion. The dealer asked for $137 to replace each one. This is a much more economical alternative.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons

It works and has no issues

I installed it at a Walmart tire center so I can't speak for the installation. It works well but my only complaint is that there is a delay in showing this sensor on my car's TPMS screen compared to the original OEM I still have in the car. It's not much, but it takes a little more distance to read.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Perfect fit for my car

I have an old car that showed the barometric pressure signal on the dashboard for the second time after I had a technician replace 1 sensor 2 years ago. I figured that now that I knew what the cost was, buying the scan tool, sensor, and installation tools was almost worth the service. So I bought this sensor and it worked great. Since the car didn't have a programmable screen for the sensors, I also had to buy a tool to store them in the car via the OBD port. It worked great.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

The sensors were not new and were installed earlier.

I love the design and performance of these sensors but all 4 showed signs of having been previously installed. Two had severe dents and abrasions on the aluminum housing and all 4 had the screws attaching the sensor to the stem housing already installed in the housings to the point where the thread lock activated. So now the screws are engaged. Heat may have weakened them but I didn't have to apply heat to install what was supposed to be a new item and obviously I have doubts about the battery…

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • only available in white

Product description is ERROR

Very disappointed! It said the sensor was programmed for my 2010 Nissan Altina sedan. Well, the place I installed it said it would fit perfectly, but it was NOT programmed as advertised. So I got stuck with the sensor in my tire and couldn't get it back. Very dissatisfied customer! My tire fitter Nan said buy one pre-programmed and he will install it for free. Well I lost money because the sensor was left in the tire. Didn't want to be removed and recharged. So I am a VERY dissatisfied…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great Deal - Tires and Wheels

I understand the dealer's profit. It makes sense to me - they have a lot of overhead and that cost needs to be offset somehow. But the price gouging is currently insane. My case and point of view is that my Infiniti FX50 had a failed TPMS sensor. My car shows me the tire pressure of each tire, but one of the tires keeps not reading. I contacted Discount Tire and they reset it for me, it worked for about a day and then flashed again. I called Infiniti. They said they could order a new TPMS…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Weight
