They may or may not work, I'll never know. The nominal height is 7mm, same as the drive that came with my Lenovo X220 and X230 tablet laptop. These dryers are too tall to fit inside. Incorrect elevation. Edit: Too bad the seller sent me old 9.5mm rims, not new 7mm rims. The rims they sent me are 9.5mm high MQ01ABD100H. I have ordered MQ01ABFH 7.5mm 1TB drives.

Highly recommend this drive! Super quiet and super fast! Installed it in my 2008 Dell Studio 17 and breathed new life into it! Much cheaper than buying a new laptop.

I use it as a boot drive for my home storage server. Windows Server 2012 R2. I haven't measured the exact loading time, but it's less than 10 seconds. Shutdown also less than 10 seconds. I would like to add that when my server is running, the total memory used is 1.3GB. So I would guess that when you reboot, the entire boot process is stored on the NAND flash. I'm not sure. I recently needed to replace my laptop's internal drive and decided to give these hybrid drives a try. So far I have not noticed such an increase in speed as I had hoped. The download speed remains about the same as before. However, app usage has increased. Even some of the more resource-intensive applications I use, like Finale, open very quickly. Overall this is a good ride at a good price. I can't disagree.
