Good size box; It's bigger than my small litter box but still a decent size for my kitty (despite only weighing 3lbs). I wouldn't want it much bigger though. I have purchased 3 moderna clamshell bowls and a modern moderna cat bowl (just bought today). I bought my first one about a year ago and fell in love immediately. I lived with my boyfriend and our two cats and the tray we had was cheap from Target which worked great for keeping everything inside but that's about it. Our older cat urinates higher so I was hesitant to buy this at first but it actually works better with a flat box. The old box really leaked urine and ran down the sides of the box!

Although there is a weight error when shipping, it's great, I have it in my room and it doesn't smell AT ALL. My cat isn't too keen on it but I think he's getting used to it. First, the stated product dimensions (18 x 13.5 x 14.5 inches) are incorrect. I ordered this at the end of October 2012 and asked to return it if the box I received is larger. At the time it was only available here on Revain from Petco as a third party. They gave me back the money and said there was a mistake in the description. Mid-December 2012, description still wrong.
