I like this new design for N64 controller. They are much easier to hold than the original controllers. An added bonus of this set is that each comes with an extension cord. That's also very long. I was able to sit across the room to play games instead of sitting on the floor in front of the TV. My only complaint is that they don't feel as beefy and sturdy as the originals.

I like these controllers MUCH more by design than the original Nintendo 3 pin controllers. Switching between arrow keys and joystick is easy, convenient and ergonomic. However, both controllers I received had quality control issues. For one, the joystick was completely non-functional, and for another, the cable was too big for the N64 and was dangling out of the connector (although it still worked). It got me past Mario level 64, which to me means it works, so either of those two was good.

If you think each controller should be $15 and extension cords should be around $5 each, easily search for $40 price and to be honest I was it selling new design N64 controllers priced at over $25 each. Really, this value is absolutely unbelievable. This kit costs $50, let alone $30. You can assume that the cables and controller are cheap for that price. It's not like this. When I look at a third party controller I usually find one major flaw that becomes apparent after a few minutes of play, but this one honestly impressed me. The range of motion is actually superior to standard controllers. It has a larger thumbpad than the Game Cube but an octagonal closure and is the same as OEM N64 resistance.
