🌾 Organic Whole Grain Layer Feed by Modesto Milling - 25 lbs; SKU# 5067 Review

This bird food is my go-to for my feathered friends. Pet Supplies are so crowded with options, but this one really caught my eye. As a result of using this product, I found that my birds are much more active and happy. The organic and whole grain ingredients are a huge pro, ensuring that my birds are getting the best quality food available. My only con is that it is a bit pricier than some other options on the market.

Excellent food. My chickens are in excellent condition and are doing great in our sub-zero temperatures and they lay most of the winter. It costs more than hardware store groceries, but sometimes, and this is one of those occasions, you get what you pay for.

My girls are picky but LOVE Modesto Milling products. I particularly like that the pouch doesn't contain as much powder as some other grains (this has resulted in my chickens losing nutritional value by eating a fraction of what was in their bowls). It is an excellent choice for fermentation. I give my girls a bowl of this every few days and then fill their feeder with crumbs so they have a choice.
