I have received my so-called "new" set of salt and pepper mills. I opened the box to find that they were USED and both dirty! You still had a ton of salt residue on the sides of the glass jar. Pepper jar and remaining peppercorns in it. What on earth! I was shocked and very sad that I wouldn't be able to use my new dishes tonight. Then I thought what if the family this happened to had Covid-19! Now I can be compromised. This is highly unacceptable!

Although I've only had them for a few days. I'm pleasantly impressed with them.1. I expected the exit hole to be on the bottom, but it's on the top, which I really like. This gives them a solid base to lean on and I don't have to drag across the counter or pedestal2. They are very strong. Others I've had in the past (from another company) have not been solid. It's great3. I didn't expect an extra set of ceramic grinders. But more came to replace it. This is one of my happiest purchases.

The first salt shaker lasted less than a month before the plastic inside broke and became unusable. My original coffee grinder, which is now a dedicated benchtop machine, is still working after over a year. However, I emailed the company and they have been everywhere with amazing customer service. Heavy Check. I love these mills. The capacity is perfect. The aesthetics are wonderful. A simple, no-frills design is exactly what I'm looking for. However. it went like this for two years. I think the peppercorns are too hard for the kind of plastic they made these grinders out of as you can see in the picture. These are very nice hammers but they don't work at all. It tears open the outer shell a bit, but then instead of ground pepper you're left with either very fine dust or paper flakes. The ability to adjust is a joke as it's all about how close you want each piece of rough plastic to be together. It's impossible to get even a peppercorn in between. I bought this set from Revain in October 2019 and recently while trying to add pepper we accidentally broke the glass base and coffee grinder. I have contacted the sellers (modetro) as they have included their product card and encouraged you to call them if you have any problems. I still had 2 years (battery without grind adjustment) and was never really satisfied. When one of them broke after falling, I wanted a set with an adjustable grind and the ability to work with different sizes of salt and pepper. So far this works great.
