While I think I'm happy with what I got, I didn't get all 4 pieces. There were no scissors in my order which was very disappointing. The rating reflects this.

The scissors are very sharp, the tweezers are good but the flat algae scraper did not remove green algae very well and scratched the glass. It may be my fault as I don't know how to use it, what angle to hold it against the glass. In general I am very satisfied with the quality.

You've made my life so much easier. Planting and pruning my crops just got a lot easier now. The scissors are so sharp that one cut is enough to cut thick plants. Pliers are perfect for planting, angled pliers help planting in corners, I haven't used any other tool but I'm sure it will come in handy once I figure out its purpose.

I'm new to aquascaping and wanted to start cheaply wherever I could and this tool kit was a good place to start. I was very surprised at the quality of the product and how much you get for the money compared to the premium brands in the big stores. I finished my tank with these tools and they worked great! I was worried they would just be flimsy pieces of aluminum but I'm happy to report that they are just as strong and will hold their shape as kits that cost twice as much. .

I was pleasantly surprised with this product, the quality of each item is just outstanding. They look and feel like stainless steel surgical instruments. A velvet pouch to keep everything in is also a nice touch. I'm setting up a brand new 75 gallon freshwater aquarium and the tools have made getting my plants deep in the substrate much easier. I have plants with larger root systems that don't take tweezers very well. I also have 30 gallons and 55 gallons. This is clearly not enough to keep your hand wet. The paddle is weak unless you are paddling a sandy bottom. There are really tiny pebbles in my large tank that will bend the spatula. So if you're not doing anything productive or moving around the aquarium a little, the best tool in the kit is a pair of scissors. It might take more practice to use tools but I just went back to using

I used this kit to decorate 2 new aquariums. Everything works as it should and no defects so far. I wipe them down after each project and save the ribbons to hold the tweezers when I put them away. The tweezers are ideal for inserting new plants into the substrate and into crevices without damaging the plant. I ordered these to help aquascaping my first planted aquarium. Tweezers are great for planting stem plants. It's easy to get thin stems in the substrate or even stronger stem plants. I used them for s. repens, and it was easy to hang and plant small stems. It was just as easy to plant some hygro. I haven't had to cut yet, but scissors are sharp enough to get the job done.
