I used this kit to decorate 2 new aquariums. Everything works as it should and no defects so far. I wipe them down after each project and save the ribbons to hold the tweezers when I put them away. The tweezers are ideal for inserting new plants into the substrate and into crevices without damaging the plant. They have little texture at the ends, so light pressure is enough to push the plants into the substrate and minimize damage. I used pruning shears and they are sharp - equally good for cutting roots and new shoots. The small end of the substrate smoother is great for tucking substrate into corners and under aquarium fixtures. Good product. I don't regret my purchase.
