Moen 101010 Replacement Part Review

Took 2 minutes including old limescale removal. Replaced an old aerator in a Moen 84503 Adler Centerset single lever bathroom faucet. Perfect fit, now the flow rate is like new again.

Another chore getting the right branded part done. Yes, you can buy nameless aerators for a dime less if they're cheaply made and rust overnight. These are heavy brass parts with the same shine as the faucets. Do not accept any replacement.

I have upgraded the cartridges on a pair of 10 year old Moen faucets and also replaced the aerators with these which fit perfectly. Replacing cartridges can be a problem. Replacing the old aerator with this aerator was very easy. Now the faucets work like new.

I gave this product 3 stars because I didn't know how to rate my comments with stars. This is the wrong faucet size for my needs. It does not replace MOE181066 or MOE3919. It will not fit Moen "EVA" faucet part number 6410 or 6410BN. He is too big. Don't make the same mistake I did. The MOE181066 is the 1.2 GPM aerator and the MOE3919 is the 2.2 GPM version and both are available from online retailers at reasonable prices.

You know what it's like when you go to the hardware store and select an "all in one" faucet or toilet part, then bring it home and find it that it's not all- in one? It's the other way around. I tried "universal equivalent" before trying this. It failed miserably. This provided an unaerated weak flow. That was my last pass Ave Mary. I decided to splurge and buy this genuine 20 year old Moen bathroom faucet part. I installed it very easily. He held his breath. It worked like a charm! Money well…

What = Kitchen sink, pull out faucet, Moen brand, newly installed and finally the spray can was cracked and broken allowing water to be sprayed onto the countertop and sides of the sink instead of a nice clean stream as in new condition.
