💧 Moen 116618BN Aerator: Stylish Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet Upgrade Review

I bought this a while ago and have since ordered and installed a new Moen faucet. Now I wish I had kept my old one. My old faucet was great. Never had a problem. However, the new Moen is of excellent quality but has a very, very low consumption. I'm sure this is a design feature to save water, but it's very annoying as it takes quite a long time to fill a pitcher or pot.

Fits my faucet perfectly. Old parts rotted, water splashed everywhere. I couldn't find the model number on my faucet but took a chance and this one fits and it does! The bottom diameter is slightly larger than my original, but obviously the only important part is the screw in one piece. See caption below. It suited both the old and the new.

Screwed well onto my bathroom faucet. It wasn't an exact replica of the aerator I replaced, I couldn't find the exact same part of the model, but it looks similar and fits well enough that you'll never know it's not the original. It didn't fit perfectly to seal the faucet against leaks, but a simple fix of wrapping several layers of tape over the threads sealed it perfectly.

Does not belong to those who write negative reviews, but decided to share his experience. I bought this Moen aerator to replace a broken one at my parents house after reading positive reviews and a description saying it was an OEM part. Installation is obviously easy, but water flow seems limited and uneven. I checked the lock several times but couldn't find it. I will return the part and order elsewhere.
