Falling Apart: Kitchen & Bathroom Fixtures

I've had it for three years and what I thought was metal was actually plastic and completely cracked. I thought if I buy Moen it will last more than three years. I guess I was wrong.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Works best with high water pressure.

This is a great shower head, but only with good water pressure. Tried a second location with low water pressure and was unsatisfactory.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

LOTS of electricity! on bath faucets and shower heads

I noticed my kids had a little rain shower pressure so I bought these and installed them. the rubber duck acted as a lifesaver and we were able to save it with a hook and net.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No power

Pretty decent shower head with wide spray

I have several of these. They are excellent for wide spray applications. If you want serious water pressure you need to open it up and some mods. The water pressure on the ship is average. They seem to last quite a while, I replaced one that was just too old and despite trying to clean the nozzles they started spraying in weird directions or not spraying at all.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great shower head - try the limiter before you take it off!

Picked up on Saturday. Mine came preinstalled with a flow restrictor. I myself decided to remove it before installing. ERROR. The pressure from that head was so intense that my wife said it felt like she was being skinned. Luckily I still had the limiter and was able to reset it. I'm aware of the showerheads which can make them restrictive devices, but they're worth it. This isn't one of them. I'm also not saying not to erase the device - if you want to erase it, by all means erase it. BUT…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost never

Oatmeal too hot or too cold

I felt like Goldilocks showering at the House of the Three Bears, where actually only Mama Bear and Papa Bear shower. Instead, Little Bear should take a bath. With the flow restrictor, my wife didn't have enough pressure to effectively get the shampoo out of her hair. When the green plastic flow restrictor was removed, the amount of water rushing through the shower head was so great that we used almost all of the hot water in one shower. I tried to find a middle ground by leaving the flow…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Clarity

Good. I also offer an adjustable shower extension.

One of these I first encountered at the Anasazi Inn (a luxury hotel in Santa Fe). I should have gotten one. If you like strong needle jets, this isn't for you. It's wider and softer - closer to a "rain" showerhead - but probably powerful enough for most people. Since it only tilts slightly, the hotel used it in combination with a 10-inch adjustable shower head (made by Delta, also available here at Revain), so I bought that as well. 19 dollars. This is an extension of your shower's water line…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Big Price

Excellent and inexpensive shower head

Variations on this type of shower head are used in several mid-range hotel chains, which is where I first encountered them. With a flow rate of 2.5 GPM they produce a nice and wide stream unlike many shower heads. Personally, I hate those multi-function showerheads that have multiple settings, including a pulsed "massage". Who needs this crap? I don't shower for a massage, I shower to clean myself and this shower head is nothing fancy but it gets to the point. Since they have no moving parts…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
