🛀 Moen DN7010 Tub Safety Bar for Home Care - White Review

This bar attaches to tub walls very quickly and without tools. It is extremely reliable and does not wobble when properly attached. We tried one of the tighter styles but any pressure on the arm moved it and this one is attached at 2 points which is much more secure.

Ironing Guard Used because I had foot surgery and trying to shower on one leg resulted in a fall and needed 4 stitches over my eye. I bought a $16 return and it was easy enough to assemble and install. I have a very curved tub wall, but installing anywhere along the tub was not a problem given the allowable width of the struts. Wow, finally a strong pole to lean my full weight on to get out of the bath get . The only thing I wish it was taller as I'm 6'1" and when I get out of the tub it's great to lean on because I'm disabled and have a hard time closing one leg to lift. Lucky for me. I have a 1950's porcelain bathtub on iron with a wide rim. I thoroughly rinsed the area where the splint will be clamped to remove any soap or bath oil residue. This Moen safety bar opened to the full length of the slots that slid perfectly over the rim and sat on the bottom clamps. Side pads adhere satisfactorily to the surface.
