I bought it to replace a worn tether that I used for years. I should have chosen a shorter length and it isn’t adjustable like the other one. It has better clips than the old one. One end fits in the child safety seat anchor and the other fits in the loops on the dog harness. It is meant to keep the dog from flying out of the car if there is an accident. It is a pretty color and easy to use. I no longer need the carabiner that I needed on the previous one because the clip didn’t fit right.

Our dog can quickly back out of her harness and will run away. We don't use this for it's intended purpose as a seat belt. We clip one end to the harness D ring and the other end to her collar. Now if she backs out of the harness, she is still attached to the leash and can't run away. We wish the length was a little shorter but we really enjoy going for walks again.

The cable slipped from around clip and my dog thunder fell out of the truck at 50 mph and got injured and limped for a week. I am so lucky he still a live. He could have gotten hit by a car that was behind us. The product looked good but failed with in 8 minutes of use. Was taking him to a walking trail to enjoy a sunny day that didn't happen do to a bad product.

These are good quality and have kept my dog from chewing through leashes while restraining him in the car. Easy to clip and come with seat belt locks as well as clips on both ends. Very happy.

What I expected. Cables are wrapped in durable covering. Nice swivels at each end. They work for what I bought them for, restraints in my Burley Tail Wagon.

Cable diameter was much smaller than it looks in the picture. The vinyl covering the cable seems to be relatively chew proof, but the covering where the clip is connected lasted about five minutes with my young lab. Essentially it is a shrink wrap covering like found on an electrical connection. Clip is also relatively small and I’ll be curious to see how long it last when my fifty pound dog is actually pulling on it.

Wish they were a. Lil longer and the clasp was a Lil larger so it can be latched on to a bar that is slightly larger that clasp

I used this along with my leash to walk my dog. She chewed the leash so I bought this to add a layer before her leash. It worked fine for a while and then it just snapped and my dog ran after a rabbit into the woods. Very disappointing. It wasn’t as sturdy as I thought it would be.

Exactly what I was looking for. My dog has a bad habit of chewing through things trying to keep him safe in the car. This should be the last one I ever have to buy.

My dog is a chewer. We bought a car bed for him with two straps to attach to his harness. He chewed through both. We needed something that could clip to the back of the seat and his harness that he couldn't chew through. This works perfectly.

The hook on my Yorkiepoo's car seat broke so I wasn't able to secure her to the seat. This works perfectly--one end clipped to car seat and the other to her harness.

I bought this to use w/ a retractable leash that was expensive but had a nylon leash. Puppy was trying to chew on the leash so I purchased this attachment to save the cloth leash from being chewed. This lasted less than a month and was used for regular walks. Puppy pulled on trying to chase a bird and it broke. Don't waste your money!
