PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE LATCH SYSTEM DOES HAVE A WEIGHT LIMIT!For my car, a 2016 Buick Verano, the lower latch system, two latch bars together, can hold a total of 65 pounds as stated with a properly placed children’s seat. After this it’s recommended you use a seatbelt connection. For me, once my puppy grows larger, I will be using this clip to connect him to a seat belt with weighted carabiners, please be careful about using the single latch bar the manufacturer recommends for larger dogs
