What is shown is not what you will receive.

I expected six sticks as shown on the website. The customer in the Q&A said he got six. I only received one. The website is very confusing and misleading.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Without a weapon

came quickly - adhesives and sealants

Works as advertised. I have to say that my repair efforts have not been outstanding since I first tried this technique. I think with practice it would be better than an amateur.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Functionality

Good for what it is for

I have used this to fill in some gaps when turning wood ends. Seems to be working fine. Just a little dirty and clogs the sandpaper when I sand it down after it dries. But I can use it to take off if there is no way to avoid it. So 4 stars.

Driftwood color Off-white, not gray

The color doesn't even come close to any driftwood I've seen in nature, or the usual gray driftwood finish popular on furniture or frames today. This "driftwood" color is almost cream. Not even close to what we needed.

Misleading advertising of variety rather than "one " single color

I do not know this product because I was misled by the description showing an image with many colors I assumed to be matched what I ordered and the title suggested a colour-coded multipack as we're not quite sure what matches what we're trying to fill. Very disappointed that I have to send it back and order something else. Misleading ad I received a single color that I didn't even know I ordered

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Concise instructions

I had a deep gouge in a light piece of hickory. It's hard to get a good color match, but it works (I had to adjust the grain a bit afterwards). More importantly, it's much easier to use a traditional fuel rod. Cauterization of the knife is not required. Any heat source will do. (I used a cooking torch). And no special alignment tools are required. Working old credit card with light scratches along the scratch. In comparison, this product is stronger than filler (because it's quite hard when not

Way Off Color Wax Crayon Stick

What I wanted, really wanted, was a shellac stick that melts and creates a permanent hard fill of shellac in depressions in the wood surface and can be sanded like wood but with time delivery was too long. I saw this and thought it would work, bad choice! What I got instead of the deep red mahogany listed was more of a gray which was noticeable like a sore thumb. The soft wax held up well enough that fixing the unsightly color mismatch became a simple repair of a knot in my door, a splinter inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Disappearing

zero success. Unusable product

I bought the Burn In Stick because my dog left a fairly deep scratch on the table. I tried filling it with a soft stick but wasn't happy with the result so I read reviews of Burn In Sticks and thought they would fill the scratch better. I was wrong. I tried the drip method where I heated the end and dripped material into the scratch so it filled the space and created a nice dome of material over the area. I waited for it to cool and took a plastic scraper to smooth it out and the material split

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Some minor issues
