I saw an article online about great products for wavy hair. I used Shea Moisture soap for my boy and it worked well and I figured why not (plus the coconut smell was addictive). First of all, it smells like an old floral perfume - phew. Shampoo does not foam, hair is knotted. I had to use a lot more just to work through the hair. I've just started using these two products and I really like them. I really think my hair has more definition in its waves! I would say my hair feels hydrated and doesn't get as greasy between washes! My only complaint is that the shampoo hardly lathers, so I find it hard to feel like I'm washing my entire scalp and head, but the lack of lather is perhaps something I've gotten used to too!

This is one of my new favorite combinations of Shea Moisture. It leaves my hair soft, if not as shiny as Shea's Hibiscus moisturizing line (my favorite), but I really like it. Also, the smell is subtle, which is what I'm looking for as I can't stand perfume.

My daughter is multinational. She has curly, soft, thin and thick hair. It's going to be very dry. I bought this entire hair care line and when I use them all together they work quite well compared to other products I have tried. But I don't see where a real shampoo and conditioner is more moisturizing than some of the others I've tried, and I don't see where they prevent/detangle tangles any better.
