Waterproof but awkward to use

Works well. They're waterproof, but they were bulky, uncomfortable and difficult to see on screen compared to previous cases we've used. I stopped using them about halfway through my last vacation and just put the phones back in my pockets.

  • Full protection - lightweight with detachable neck strap. PVC housing with double rotary lock and sealable locks protects the device from water, snow, dust and dirt.

Waterproof Pouches, Holsters & Cases

Take this kayak boarder to the Gulf of Mexico, it sits in my cooler side pocket for hours exposed to the elements with my iPhone inside! Salt mist, water etc seems to stay dry very well. Direct hot sun is probably not the best option as it is a soft, malleable plastic. Can get soft. In general, it works well in harsh environments.

The quality is suspicious because.

Seems like a great idea BUT I'm glad we didn't submerge our phones in water because the two phones we received were NOT waterproof. The seams in the two corners where the clear meets the black were not taped at all. Seems like a good idea, but this one didn't do the essentials it was designed to do. Keep water away from your phone. Although everything else seemed fine.
