Yes, this is a working 4k camcorder for <$100.

Benefits: $85. This is a 4k sensor. Standard mounting holes. 6 foot USB 3.0 cable. all tested 3) Works great with OBS Sturdy aluminum body Cons: Get the 5-55mm zoom version unless you're editing a wide angle shot in OBS, it has a FOV of 84 * It's a NOISY 4k sensor, who really needs good natural lighting or studio lights to help them "grain". I see no reason to use the Logitech Brio or other full 1080p webcams when you have the option to adjust the video quality with software like OBS and some…

Buy 50mm good for computers and accessories

I gave this camera 5 stars in another review of the same camera with a 50mm lens. According to Mokose, the angle of view of this 3.2mm lens is 85º. More like a hundred. If it were an action camera, it could take off. But this isn't an action camera; It has no action camera capabilities. This is a webcam only. And the picture at the periphery is distorted almost to the fisheye. So offering such a viewing angle is pretty stupid. The camera behind the lens is wonderful in this price range. It has…

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Reliability

Cons: - It only has MPEG compression - Limited choice of CS mount lenses for over 5MP - CS mount lenses are more sensitive and difficult to focus. .- USB 3.0 with MJPEG format which is better suited for multi-camera setups on laptops with limited USB ports.- There are many cheap and really good CS mount lenses out there. Noise and Color: Colors and details out of the box. in black is the best I have found for this price. I have a Canon M6 MKII with an IS STM 11-22mm lens ($1200) with an Elgato…

It didn't work reliably with my main computer

I really wanted this little guy to work reliably with my main computer (Windows 10, Lenovo p320 Tiny). If I turn it off, the camera app and OBS won't be able to see it again until I restart. And sometimes just a reboot couldn't fix the situation. Sometimes I had to remove the device first. Also, the input video froze when using OBS at 1080P or 4K. The Thinkpad laptop seemed fine but it didn't inspire confidence so I sent it back for a refund. My Logitech C920 works great with plugging and…

This is an amazing little 4k camera!

I totally agree with this camera. It's definitely worth the under $100 price tag. It's sharp out of the box, although it can be focused using the lens's outermost ring/rim and doesn't require drivers to work. It's sharp and the color reproduction is fantastic. Due to the larger sensor, it works very well in low light. For finer tuning of W/B, resolution, etc., the guide suggests OBS Studio, which is free and works great with the camera. I would seriously consider this camera before spending…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Damaged

The camera appears to provide good image quality, but only works with the right lighting. Otherwise, the weak light sensor is not good. But what bothered me a bit is that nowhere in the description did it say that this camera had a microphone. So after connecting to Streamlabs OBS, I heard the audio. So I unplugged my mic, but then I noticed with a creepy look that the audio was still being recorded. Confused and curious I checked the source and it says "UC40" and after typing what was on…
