🧴 MOLYKOTE Performance Synthetic Grease 5, 3-Ounce Tube Review

We were hesitant about purchasing this product, but we are so glad we did. Using this grease, our team found that our machinery runs more smoothly and efficiently. The consistency of the grease allowed us to easily apply it to various parts. The only downside is that it's a bit more expensive than other options, but the quality is worth it.

This is possibly the best bearing grease I have used to date. But 2 factors hold it back. Not compatible with other lubricants. And it might be too picky, but it stinks bad. Like a sickening sour stench that really puts me off. Works well but stinks and all previous grease needs to be removed.

I used it to lubricate bearings on a homemade 3D printer and for this purpose Molykote checks most required fields (NLGI 2, base oil viscosity 50-100 at 40°C, suitable for low speed bearings etc.). In hindsight, I should have gone with the SuperLube that other people use to lubricate their linear bearings, but I wanted the "best" for this build, and that doesn't contain any harsh additives like PTFE or whatever.
